White Mountain Hand Crank Ice Cream Maker

Up for sale is a vintage White Mountain hand crank ice cream freezer! I remember making ice cream with a hand crank ice cream maker. Each of us would take turns on the crank, impatiently waiting for the time when we could get a taste of our homemade ice cream. Working together to accomplish a task can bring a family together and give lasting memories. I don't think we made ice cream that way more than three times but the fond memory is still with me.

Plus you can make your ice cream as healthy (broccoli & cauliflower ice cream) or decadent (Ben & Jerry's Half Baked) as you want. It has a 6" diameter and is 12" tall. So, half the diameter times itself (6/2 x 3) times 12 times 3.14 = 339.12. Divide that by 58 is 5.85 quarts. Was I supposed to divide by 56? Internal depth is `11.5 to the top.
