We bought this new for a special occasion, and made maybe 5 batches of ice cream with it, as the menu changed for the occasion. The quality of the ice cream was great, but the wife and I just don't use it any more. We stored it in the basement and the cord got chewed in several places by mice. Didn't damage the functioning of the machine, but I did examine and tape it with 3M electrical tape.
