The original "primary" label is still on the wooden bucket after all these years. The secondary label at the top right front of the bucket is partially intact. This is a COMPLETE SYSTEM and it's ready to go.
The wooden bucket is approx. 13-1/2 tall (excluding metal brackets and handle). It does NOT come with the Original Box, but it DOES include a "Patty Potter's Famous Old-Fashioned Homemade Ice Cream Recipe" booklet. It also includes three other White Mountain Documents that are RARELY found with these units. It is USED but I consider it to be excellent overall condition especially considering the age.The metal bracket & latch have minimal rust. The metal carrier & wooden handle are still in excellent condition. The metal crank mechanism is in excellent working condition with minor rust deposits and usual wear. Scratches, scuffs, varnish loss, dings, dents, minor chips & wood losses to the wooden bucket.
Minor rust, tarnishing, dings, dents, and bends to the canister as expected. The wooden dasher blades /scrapers look good - no splits or breaks that I could see but there is some minor wear to the edges of the scrapers as would be expected.
The raised steel TUB CENTER piece on the bottom inside of the bucket has usual rust but is intact and in good condition. The three steel outside retainer rings show usual rust but they are still solid and will last for many more years of use. This unit has not been used for many years so the wood buck has shrinkage between the tongue-n-groove vertical slats that can be resolved by filling with water and allowing to sit for several hours. Making ice cream with these vintage machines is a fun family activity, or a great way to entertain friends any time of the year, winter or summer!
